I bought this for my son when he was 3 years old. Two years later I returned to write my impartial review so you have someone to trust. Back then I bought them on a whim and had no idea what I was unlocking. These cogs have been playing with DAILY for over 2 full years now. Everyone. Lonely. Day. They survived crashed planes, tidal waves hitting sea creatures, and catapulted themselves into castles. They have been played very seldom as can be seen in the product photos as my son uses them every day to create different things. Dusty Crophopper (plane), Lightning McQueen (race car) and more. Our only regret is that sometimes we don't have enough parts to build an entire fleet. These creations have an entire display shelf in his bedroom to show what he builds every day. This toy is durable, unlimited, grows with your child, suitable for different abilities and ages, limited only by your imagination. I cannot recommend this toy more highly!
