I can finally see my parents during Covid, have tried tablets and smartphones with them, the problem is they can't take their hands off the screen, the basically big is button. This Portal plus device has a very good and sufficiently loud sound for pensioners. The camera automatically tracks the person speaking closely. The microphone picks up very well at over 10 feet from the speaker. Mount it on a rolling stand or on a robot and you've got yourself a real winner. Must be used in every hospital and nursing home. Have never been so happy with a purchase. Not a lot of instructions were included or required for me to set it up and use it for my elderly parents.
