I'm so glad I bought this lamp! I'm one of those people who gets terribly frustrated when I go shopping, and I usually search and search and worry about whether there's anything better until I either get totally distracted and accidentally buy some clothes instead, or get frustrated enough. with a process where I'll just pull the trigger on anything. This experience was no different. I've been needing a new ceiling light for my small sewing workshop for a long time. My main concern was whether it would actually be bright enough to adequately illuminate the room and I was also concerned about the price as it costs MUCH less than anything else. I forgot about similar styles that seemed a little sketchy. After reading the reviews I found that it could handle a bulb up to 60W, but couldn't get a straight answer as to how bright it would actually be. I'm so glad I took the risk and chose to do this! It brightly lights up the entire 9x10 room, and I only have a 40 watt bulb in it (pictured). It's very light and has an unexpected texture on top, but once installed it didn't look cheap at all and you don't see the texture. This is the perfect (bright) cottage style light and it was everything I was looking for!
