Review on 📻 Sangean HDR-15 HD Radio AM/FM Clock Radio by Jessica Silva

A present for my elderly mother so that she could have a small radio alarm clock with a better sound than a transistor, but she finds the construction too complicated. I set it up initially, but due to lack of a backup battery, the clock will not show the time in the event of a power failure and will not be able to reset it. As for the sound. Better than some but not good enough to justify the price. I thought I'd keep it to myself, but. why? There's no bluetooth, the clock in my area has to be set manually and I mostly listen to my own music on the radio because of all the ads. I've searched the HD channels in my area and there seems to be a lot, but I just don't need a radio or an alarm clock by my bed. (I haven't tried using alarms.) Previous reviews have mentioned how bright it is - I set it to the lowest setting that would let you see the clock one night and it was fine, but it has still bothered me when I woke up in the night. The next night I turn it off completely in standby mode, which is better for me, but if you want to wake up and see the time you need to know where that menu button is to press it. Because it's too complicated for my mom and it's just a radio for me, it's too expensive for me to justify keeping it.
