This receiver mount is good quality and a good tool for attaching a recovery strap if you already have a receiver hitch fitted to the frame. I had no trouble attaching the shackle to the shackle. as mentioned by others. The mount unscrews easily and slides easily over the mount without modification. I have used this product before this winter to help other vehicles that have lost traction in loose snow.
