The tips are not ceramic, but plastic. Disappointing.
I had very high expectations for this product and was very excited when it arrived as I had some PCB work to do. Unfortunately, when I opened the packaging, I found that the tips are not made of ceramic material but of plastic. Even though it's hard plastic, it's still plastic. I can take my fingernail and make a mark on the tip of the tweezers. I can't do that with ceramics. If you look closely you can see where they were poured into the mold. Needless to say I am VERY disappointed. Buyer Warning.
