I had high hopes for this product and was very happy when it arrived as I needed it for my PCB work. Unfortunately, when I opened the packaging, I found that the tips are not made of ceramic material but of plastic. Even though it's hard plastic, it's still plastic. I can take my fingernail and make a mark on the tip of the tweezers. I can't do that with ceramics. If you look closely you can see where they were poured into the mold. Needless to say I am VERY disappointed. Buyer Warning.

I've read reviews saying they aren't pluckable, but that's how I discovered misaligned ends. I just loosened the screws on one end a bit, put the tip in for alignment, tightened the screws and voila, I have 2 eyebrows again. They work so well my fiancé and grandma each took one. Will have to order another set.

Purchased for making coils on RDA/RTA. Ceramic tip, stainless steel handle. The tips are detachable/interchangeable and are attached with two screws each. The tips were sufficiently tightened and held in place by sufficiently tightened screws. The pair received had no defects. The tips were so deformed that they could not grip thin wire or paper. The photos show the gap created by the irregular shape of the tips. The grips were unintentionally asymmetrical. Great materials but incredibly poor construction. I suspect it might have been "seconds". Sounds like you'll have to spend a little more to get a useful product.

Replacement tweezers arrived in good condition and on time; I use the term "replacement" in the case of another product that should and shouldn't have tweezers; Amazon tech support was great and offered a replacement kit. I chose this company for the graphic design of the layouts, a thoughtful phrase that describes the products carefully and in great detail; for which I choose the best ones to get the job done.
