Purchased for making coils on RDA/RTA. Ceramic tip, stainless steel handle. The tips are detachable/interchangeable and are attached with two screws each. The tips were sufficiently tightened and held in place by sufficiently tightened screws. The pair received had no defects. The tips of the tweezers themselves touch evenly, with a gap between everything else. and with enough compression, the flat surfaces of the ceramic tips REALLY fit completely and evenly. ** These are "tweezers". NO PLIERS!** If excessive force is applied, the tips will break! Dropping them on a hard surface can also break the tips. Also, the ceramic tips are NOT textured, so a bit smooth. not too grippy. They don't easily stick to really tiny screws, they basically have a niche purpose and work great for what they were designed for! Adjust a red-hot metal semi-sensitive coil? CHECK OVER! Fluff cotton without a hook? CERTAINLY! Are you holding that flimsy piece of solder or wire while you fix your wife's hair dryer? MEH, ok!
