I've been trying clean shampoos for years and finally found Innersense. The cost gave me pause but it's worth it. After 2 uses it has started to heal my dry, flakey scalp. The scent is subtle and doesn't linger after rinsing out. One important thing to note is how to use it. Per the instructions, saturate your hair in water, apply a very very small amount to your hands and rub together. Then distribute it over your scalp. Add water as needed and it will lather. It's very concentrated and needs to be applied as stated. If it's your first time using a clean shampoo, wash once more. The matching conditioner is awful unfortunately. Wouldnt recommended that.
