I have ordered several backpacks to try. I teach high school and had to switch from heavy bags to a backpack to distribute the weight. This backpack is amazing! It has all the perfect pockets plus a few I didn't even know I had. They are in perfect places. The size is great, not too big but not too small either. I can fit as much as my North Face Recon but without feeling bulky. The fabric feels very smooth and beautiful. It's some kind of stain that I think might be waterproof. Lightweight, durable, just perfect! Details on photos. Front of bag Open front pocket with 2 flap pockets - one open, one with zip. Inside the bag you can see how much space is left above the large 5-part notebook. Offers space for much more. There are additional organizational compartments in the main compartment on the front. The main compartment shows how much space is left behind the laptop Padded laptop pocket Back of the backpack - Durable, comfortable straps and a deep, hidden zippered pocket. 2 side pockets on the outside - fits a regular water bottle or a large, thinner bottle like a Swell or HydroFlask. One thing I want to point out. Many of these stylish bags with front buttons are turned upside down. It was weird for me. The few I bought and sent back had buttons on the flap so you had to snap them back in place or it looked weird. This one has a button on the pocket so it still looks buttoned up if you leave it undone. In addition, these buttons are magnetic. So if you drop the flap it pretty much connects them anyway, while others have regular buttons instead of magnetic ones. It may seem like a small thing, but it's definitely more functional than this bag! I had a small problem. One of the magnetic buttons on the front pocket snaps into place but doesn't stay in place. I emailed the company to ask if I could fix it and without hesitation they sent me a new one. Excellent customer service! I highly recommend this bag. I'm a little disappointed that there are no more YouTube videos or mentions in backpack lists. This one definitely deserves the number one spot on those lists or reviews! I have green and red. Both colors are pretty accurate. Green is my favorite. I might end up turning grey, too. Just get it!
