We have a 2009 Honda Odyssey. The air from the HVAC system only blows hot or cold air through the front vents. It doesn't matter which mode you choose. This actuator was the solution. There are several actuators in this car, but I used this part for the actuator behind the passenger side glove box. Make sure you have a 7mm socket wrench to remove the three screws. The biggest hurdle was getting the part in place and attaching it to the two arms that control the airflow, holding it in place and screwing it back in. But after my third try I got it right and now it works like a champ. I would also advise if you haven't changed your cabin air filter in a while to also order one as you will need to take the glove box door off to replace this part and the filter is easy to change while you are in.
