Good fit for my Ford Explorer; Stay Put

They fit my 2017 Ford Explorer seats very well. I love the extra padding you put in the space between the top and bottom of the seat because it really stays in place. They are easy to clean (we confirmed that when we spilled coffee on them on our first trip with themπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ). They're comfortable and not too difficult to put on (for something that fits multiple types of car seats). We have two problems with them. The fabric sides completely cover the electric controls for the seats. I don't really care because I've been driving my car for 4 years now and I already know where everything is (you can easily check them through the fabric), but it can be frustrating trying to "find" you the button by touching it (more of an issue with the seat heating/cooling controls than those moving them forward/backward/etc.). The bigger issue was that they REALLY smelled strongly of chemicals when we first got them. Neither of us are very sensitive to them, but they are extremely smelly (so much so that we left the car windows open while it was in the garage to try to air it out). Not sure if it's Microban or not, but it eventually (mostly) resolved (it took about 7-10 days). I highly recommend airing them out for about a week before putting them in your car. If you're very sensitive to smells, they might not work for you at all (I can still smell them a little, and we've had them for about 3 weeks). Overall we're happy with them, but I'd prefer they weren't as spicy.
