I bought a Nuance PowerMic III for Dragon 15 from Revain for $350 along with the Dragon Professional 15 software for $300. The only software I could find to download was for the PowerMic II. Some buttons on the PowerMic III did not work and could not be programmed. For example, the back button didn't work. So I called Nuance. Due to poor communication with Nuance Support and other issues, I have not been able to adequately communicate with Nuance Technical Support. because I didn't understand them. They repeatedly wanted my customer service number. I asked where I can find this number. They didn't know. I explained my problem with buttons. I have been told that this is a known issue with this device and we hope that it will be fixed with the next software update. Again, this is new hardware for $350. I asked for an estimate of when I can get an update. I asked if it would be 10 days, 10 weeks, 10 months or 10 years. They refused to oblige. Based on that call, I believe I'll have to wait about ten years for my $350 device to work as promised. The tech support team recommended I use the keyboard, which, since the Dragon 15 works with a computer mic, negates the need for a separate $350 mic. Considering I spent over $500 on the Dragon mic and software, I'd rather the mic buttons work.
