Due to Covid I had to buy two boys computers. So now I had my laptop and her 2 laptops. When folded, they take up a lot of space. If they are raised when not in use there is a lot more work space. It looks very strong but I have guys so I gave them a tough lesson not to roughly snap a computer or throw it with a crash. Just trying to cover my bases lol. It works on new thin laptops but my old laptop is too thick for it. My suggestion would be to make one of the slots (maybe the back one) wider to accommodate it. Love the extra compartments for the boys' notepads and papers. Now the desktop is clean and tidy, with plenty of room to work. Love it!
