I'm probably just being picky but these beanies aren't quite the fisherman style hats I've seen or owned. They're deeper than style usually dictates, and the material isn't the same as regular hats. Because it's a lower cap, they don't sit over the ears like the signature style of this style requires. Also, it's a material resembling an old crew-neck sweatshirt, not a hat. I completely understand that this is the most snobbish millennial review I could write, but I don't think it's possible to write a negative review of this product without sounding like the guy who owns an old-school typewriter to the local coffee shop to work on his script. You see, if you are looking for a true bucket hat that is in line with current trends, I would look elsewhere. American Apparel (though overpriced) has some pretty solid stuff for around $20 (see Brad from Bon Appetit on YouTube).
