Review on XJMOTO #10 Fuel Torque Plate Kit: Optimal Fit for 🚀 1994-1998 Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 12V 5.9L Cummins Diesel 1994-1998 by Troy Caldwell

Used #10 brake plate, 3k adjuster springs and TFOD DIESEL shift kit with heavy duty band rack on my '97 Dodge Ram 2500. Use black after removing the AFC housing. Screw in the black plate and align it flush with the old plate to remove and align the new plate and keep it square. The brass fitting is a new turbo boost elbow that increases boost pressure and helps hold the wastegate for higher boost pressure. SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS: 96-98 AT requires TFOD DIESEL shifter and a new plate band #8 or higher, and intake and exhaust upgrade recommended. For #6 and up, install shifter and shock band, upgrade air intake and exhaust, and recommend billet torque converters. For EGT gauges #5 and up, shifter (possibly upgrade to TFOD-HD2) and struts, clutch and band gear upgrades, billet torque converter, cold air intake and large exhaust. Anything over 250hp is starting to think about a more powerful turbocharged engine to keep the EGT safe. If you have larger injectors installed I would recommend calling Pure Diesel Power or one of the other diesel engine manufacturers for upgrade recommendations before changing the torque plate so you don't damage the transmission or burn the engine due to the high EGT.
