9 out of 10 golf shoes after walking 18 holes

I usually wear 11M shoes for walking/running. When researching golf shoes I've come to the conclusion that my heel is on the narrow side of a medium size and I don't need a lot of arch support. With some other brands, my heel slips up and down when walking, so I can't try these shoes on. The Puma Pro Adapt Delta fits my somewhat narrow heel very well. When you put these shoes on, they seem to be too small. One is to place your foot in close-fitting material rather than traditional, loose-fitting shoes. Once inside the boot, I felt the big toe of my right foot strike what I thought was the end of the boot. So I put my wooden golf trees in the shoes which will stretch them a bit. 2 days later I put them on yesterday morning and considered keeping them to myself. I still felt my big toe. I then felt the area around the toe and found that I was hitting the top of the boot, not the ledge or edge. So I tried them yesterday after 18 holes on moderately wet grass. The scuff mark at my home wasn't a problem at all on the field, but after 5+ hours of walking/in shoes I had a bit of chafing on my left ankle. Ankle. The shoes were dry. The stability of the shoe was the best I've ever played. On concrete, this shoe feels almost studless. The shoes look like old school leather shoes with modern features. I never had to re-tie my laces in my round, which I think is due to the tight fit. In terms of performance, this is a very good golf shoe. Time will tell if the shoe breaks a bit, but I was very happy with the comfort on my foot on day one. My golf group consists of hardcore walkers. Finding the perfect fit while maintaining drying performance is very difficult. This shoe is very close.

Pros
  • ADAPTIVE BRACKET SYSTEM. The wrap-around inner shoe paired with the outer shoe offers full foot support in high-wear areas.
Cons
