Review on Ultralight And Packable Water Bottle - Hydrapak Stow - Collapsible Squeeze Bag Pouch For Travel by Doug Small

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty decent travel flask - still tastes a bit off, though

PLUSES: LOVE the color, love the construction, doesn't leak, easy to clean, collapsible, dishwasher safe!MINUSES: Doesn't always stand upright, no cover for the drinking tip so it can get dirty rubbing against things (including your fingers when opening/closing it), water tastes a bit like plastic even after multiple washes by hand and dishwasher, takes 2 days for the inside to dry out.I do plan to keep using this, as it saves on plastics. Many water dispensers in public places have pretty nasty tasting water, but I've used this with filtered water from our fridge and built-in sink filter and the water just doesn't taste the same as from a glass. Not sure what else to try as far as getting rid of the taste, but it's not bad enough to really deter me from using it. It's super handy, compact when empty, attached easily to any clip on a bag, and it gets lots of compliments.

Pros
  • Super-easy to use and operate
Cons
  • May develop an odor if not properly cleaned
