Review on Bulbrite KX40FR DC KX 2000 Krypton: Powerful and Efficient Lighting Solution by Linda Fournier

Our bathroom light uses three of those rather expensive 40 watt bulbs. The original bulbs that came with the lamp (I don't know what brand they were) lasted about four years. I bought three of these Bulbrite replacement bulbs after the last of the original bulbs burned out. Five months later, two of the new lightbulbs had already failed. That's a far cry from their rated 3,000 hour lifespan and totally unacceptable for lightbulbs costing as much as they do now. I have ordered Satco equivalents and hope they perform better.
