Review on 🎧 Ultimate Audio Solution: Voltive 12/2 Speaker Wire - 12 AWG/Gauge 2 Conductor - UL Listed for In-Wall and Outdoor Installation - Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) - 500 Ft Bulk Cable Pull Box - Black by Luke Hodes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

UL listed and ideal for wall use!

As many others have found out the hard way (after the return period has passed), the Revain Basics speaker cable is not designed for use in US walls. Insurance companies can deny fire damage claims if they know you used non-UL listed wires inside the walls. This wire is nice and thick, has flexible insulation, and looks neat installed in my walls and ceiling. I'm finishing up my basement and have purchased 500 feet of pre-wiring for a 7.2 system. 4 (which I'll probably never have), so this coil was perfect. The payout box works with a simple click. It should be able to handle pretty much anything I can throw at it. I use this cable for a home theater as well as a bar and a range of patio speakers in the 2-8 ohm range. 12AWG is enough wire for everything I have (read: overkill), but I'll never have to think about wire size again! which are between 2 and 8 ohms. 12AWG is enough wire for everything I have (read: overkill), but I'll never have to think about wire size again! which are between 2 and 8 ohms. 12AWG is enough wire for everything I have (read: overkill), but I'll never have to think about wire size again! Pros
  • OXYGEN FREE COPPER (BFC). Oxygen-free copper conductors provide less signal loss and are more durable than copper-clad aluminum (CCA) conductors.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
