Revain Basics Calligraphy Brush Pen, Black, 12 pcs. in a pack So I figured this set of 12 would be an inexpensive way to practice. When using handwritten fonts, I press fairly hard and the tips of the brush head remain curved after my downward movement. These nibs are not stiff enough for hand lettering. Since the studs remain curved as I transition to serve, I have trouble getting consistent thin serves. The tip just doesn't spring back fast enough, if at all. The ink also bleeds more than my other brush pens I have. Overall I would not recommend these brushes for hand lettering.
