I didn't know such a thing existed until a co-worker brought one to work. I worked at a grocery store as a cashier and we didn't have air circulation. I was literally sweating because we never had enough fans to get comfortable. I did a little research and decided to do it. It was wonderful. I took it to work and home every day. I don't have air conditioning in my house, just a few small windows, and lately we've been having 90's fevers. I carry this air motor with me when I work on my laptop and when I go to bed. I'm the kind of weirdo who sleeps with a fan all year round, and the louder the better. I also like that there are outlets to plug my laptop into. It was one of the best investments I've ever made. I plan on buying at least one more, maybe two. It is easy to transport and very durable. I love it.
