I bought this for my foam magnetic alphabet letters. They all fit! I have two sets (8 letters each - 2 uppercase and 6 lowercase), even the wide letters M and W fit. I like that the top can snap off and turns into a tray. Then my children have more space on the table or on the floor. With this storage my kids can find the letter they need quickly and easily. While this new part isn't the strongest (the vertical removable dividers pop out easily when pressure is applied to the horizontal dividers), it works well for us (short vertical dividers pop out first, then the long horizontal part you want to take out and shrink.) I'm looking for something to replace our previous memory (the red item in the picture). The old storage item was supposed to be hanging on the wall next to the chalkboard, but not only was it taking up too much space, it was also difficult to find the correct letter quickly and even more difficult to reach by hand. Cleaning was also difficult.
