Review on ☕ Zojirushi EC-YTC100XB Coffee Maker: Premium Stainless Steel/Black 10-Cup Brewer by Alicia Hall

We needed a coffee maker with a removable water tank that would fit under a shelf in our coffee bar. After reading hundreds of reviews from four different manufacturers, we decided to give this one a try. It's been about a month now and we are very happy with the operation. Both the storage container and the coffee basket allow you to work comfortably under the cupboard. The coffee basket slides out so that the used coffee grounds can be easily removed. The unit comes with a fine mesh filter, but this will allow a small amount of sediment to pass into the carafe, so we chose to use paper filters (use one or the other, not both). The carafe keeps the coffee warm all day and saves space because it can be put back into the coffee maker. Being stainless steel is like an extra cookie - you don't have to worry about it breaking. A word of caution: ten cups is optimistic if you're drinking regular sized cups. Most of these companies treat a cup as six or eight ounces. I didn't bother to measure how many ounces the tank held as it wasn't that important. Great product so far!
