Review on Clear Anti-Scratch Cat Training Tape 🐾 - XFasten - 2.5-Inches x 15 Yards by Mike Nix

We were finally fed up with our cat jumping on the counter so I was hoping this tape would work. I put it on the kitchen table and on the TV stand. After two hours my cat jumped on it and was a bit surprised but then started licking it. My cat licks everything so it wasn't a surprise but it didn't even bother him. In fact, he seemed curious and jumped in to check it out. I let it sit for a week before giving up. So it didn't work. The tape itself is really good quality so I'll at least have double sided tape for future use. He is clear and strong. It was pretty easy to take off, it didn't fall into a lot of pieces, but it's really strong so it took a bit of muscle strength. I read another review that suggested "tearing off" the edge of the tape to peel off the paper and it really helped. After I took it off the TV stand (some kind of coated wood) everything was fine. However, my countertops (laminate) had sticky stains all over them. I used rubbing alcohol and a steel sponge with lots of elbow grease to remove it. Even if it didn't work, it's a good double-sided tape, but it's also expensive, hence two stars in my opinion.
