Frye and Co. ESME is crafted from soft, buttery soft leather in a pleasant dusty blue. Lightweight and unique, it's the perfect size for me as a medium sized backpack. Everything about it is well made, from the 'woven' leather pattern on the flap to the adjustable straps. It's roomy enough to easily fit everything I usually carry in a medium sized handbag. On the side there is an inner zipped pocket as well as a non-zipped pocket that easily fits larger mobile phones. The included heavy duty key fob with their logo on the leather tongue can also be attached to the inside zip. A magnetic flip-flap closure keeps everything closed, although it's the only thing keeping everything inside. Depending on what you're looking for, this might not be great if you're storing a lot of loose items in it as it can't be zipped or otherwise fully closed. However, for my needs it does a good job of keeping everything in there as long as I don't toss it upside down or something. The lining is more like fabric and is close in color to the outer skin. All in all this is a very chic and trendy backpack bag that just feels good, is very feminine and has a nice color and pattern. what sets it apart from the rest of its class. I love it very much and everything about it is very well done. Two thumbs up from me for that!
