I own two different brands, this one gets hotter to the touch than my other one. I use a towel or mittens to grab out of microwave. I don't with the other.

After owning many types of popcorn makers, I wanted one that took up very little real estate in my kitchen but still enabled me to make healthier popcorn. This was absolutely the way to go. Collapsible, easy to use, clean, and affordable. This would also be ideal for RV's, dorms, boats, tiny homes or any place where storage is limited. Wished I'd bought it originally.

I wanted an easy way to pop popcorn just for me without a big mess. So I bought one of these. Really good decision. It's does a great job without and with popping oil. And I haven't burned any yet. just follow the instructions. when the popping slows down remove it. Simple. The rest of my family are getting one for Xmas.

I was surprised how easy and efficient this thing worked. Never burning and pops a LOT. works with or without oil. May require additional accessories to remove hot popcorn from the microwave.

I purchased this microwave popcorn maker as a replacement for my very much used model that had served me so well for so long I don’t recall when I’d bought it. What I particularly love about my new one are the extra thickness of the top rim and the two handles. Both provide more stability when handling and the handles make it easier and safer to remove when popping has finished. Now, if only someone comes up with a model that regularly pops every single kernel!

Perfect solution to get air pop popcorn in the microwave with no oil at all. Just add popcorn, cover with the lid and microwave. It’s exactly what I wanted. It’s better than air pop. Easy to clean, easy to use, stores compactly. I love everything about this product. And it’s less expensive than an air pop machine.

Great little popper! Had a hard plastic bowl before this and NEVER got such great results. First time using it today and had minimal unpopped kernels left behind. As some other reviewers suggested, I sprayed a little oil (avocado) in to coat all the kernels before popping. I like my popcorn a little more "done” and that’s exactly what I got. Obviously all microwaves are different but this is what I did: Set the microwave for half power (5/10) for 4 minutes and it was perfect! Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this item. Once you come up with the correct timing for your microwave there are hardly any unpopped kernels. It’s stores compactly, and does as expected.

Love this popper. I bought one last year to replace my very old plastic one and am amazed by how well this popper performs. Love it so much that I just bought 5 more to give to our 5 kids for Christmas for their own homes. Great popcorn popper. I got tired of popping my popcorn on the stove in a pot, so I got the microwavable popper. Don't have to use any oil, so the popcorn comes out very fresh tasting. Really can taste the natural flavor of the corn. Have to be careful on how much you fill the container with kernels, very easy to over fill and it's popping over the top. There's line inside to fill properly but easy to miss.

Goal: Use to make caramel corn. Husband said that he'd make the trial batch. Thing is, the husband turned on the microwave timer to the max time indicated on the instructions, then proceeded to walk away. My rule is never walk away from popping corn, because you need to listen to the popping corn and turn off, when popping really slows down, regardless of instructions(!). I love this thing. It's easy to use and clean. Dishwasher safe. Just throw in kernels, place lid on loosely and microwave until popping slows down. Makes quite a bit. Would definitely recommend

This is my first microwave popcorn popper. I really love it! SOOO easy to use. The cleaning challenge is just like all other silicone items it is "floppy" and slippery making it difficult to know it is fully cleaned (best to throw in dishwasher when possible).
