Worth a shot! for my opinion

Works great, exactly as described……need experience trying various oils and salts, but this makes that process pretty painless…….stores easily, washes up easily, too.

Pros
  • Very easy to use. Doesn't burn the popcorn.
Cons
  • Not suitable for stovetop use

Works Perfectly good for me

I wish I had purchased this item sooner in life. It pops amazing popcorn. I’m sure the freshness of the kernels makes a difference as well but I have had batches with no kernel left unpopped. I remove the popped corn from the container before I add butter or whatever flavor I’m feeling. This way the container is so easy to clean. I like that it collapses for storage. Overall a great product.

Pros
  • You can add your seasonings to create a variety of flavors to suit your taste buds.
Cons
  • Requires more time and effort compared to pre-packaged popcorn bags

Excellent Solution for my opinion

I purchased this about four months ago- it has proven to be an effective solution. It works exactly as described for me. I have a Panasonic genius 1200 W microwave. I put it at 2:50 minutes on high with the popcorn at the

Pros
  • Kitchen & Dining
Cons
  • May take longer to clean than traditional popcorn bags

Where have you been all my life?

Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. I've used this twice since receiving it last week. The first time, only 2 kernels of corn didn't pop, the second time there were only 4 unpopped. I don't think I've ever had such great results with popping corn.

Pros
  • Black
Cons
  • Can be challenging to insert and remove from the microwave

Makes great popcorn quickly

Whip up some microwave popcorn as fast or faster that prepackaged nuker corn but without any unknown chemicals. I add real melted butter and salt after popping 1/3 cup of kernels for right around 3 minutes. Yum!

Pros
  • The built-in measuring lines make it easy to portion control.
Cons
  • May produce a less buttery or salty taste than pre-packaged options

Great popcorn popper

I love that this popper has lines on the bottom to put the right amount of popcorn in. However, if I use the line that puts more kernels into the bowl, it's way too much. The lid comes off and the popcorn ends up all over the microwave. I can only use the lower line. Just so you know :)

Pros
  • 10.5 ounces
Cons
  • Limited color options to choose from

Where was this all my life?

My first encounter with microwave popcorn was way back when almost no one had a microwave. Yes, I am rather old!My uncle showed us this magic trick of using a brown paper lunch bag and covering it with a plastic bag. Then he poured in a bit of popcorn and a chunk of butter. To our amazement, the most delicious popcorn came out of his magical microwave oven.Years go by and they market those horribly salty, easy-to-burn, and altogether not-so-tasty popcorn in prepackaged microwave popcorn. The…

Pros
  • I love using this thing. My only complaint is I have to butter/oil the popcorn by hand.
Cons
  • Can create a mess if not used carefully

1000% better than bag (cancer) popcorn

Bought one several years ago. Just bought 4 more for Christmas gifts. Over 1000 uses still works like new.Bag Microwave Popcorn is REALLY bad for you. Read the ingredients. This thing does not make dry popcorn like an air popper, its moist and tastes way better.Tips:1. Buy a butter melter made of the same stuff, I have washed mine in Dishwasher 100 times still like new.2. Don't use the cooker as a popcorn bowl and you literally will never have to wash it.3. After corn is popped do not touch…

Pros
  • I like that is storable
Cons
  • Requires additional storage space compared to traditional popcorn bags

folds down & pops kernels well

I never made popcorn in a microwave before. This device is much easier than a paper bag (which are hard to come by). Unlike other poppers, this folds down to 1/4 of its height. I don’t eat much popcorn at one go, so this is more than big enough for 1 to 2 tbs. of popcorn kernels. Rinses clean easily. (I don’t use butter, but any residue probably washes out well.)

Pros
  • makes popcorn quick and easy
Cons
  • May not pop all the kernels evenly due to air pockets in the silicone

Natural popcorn - my new review

It is the best way to make natural popcorn. The only thing I did not like is that you have to put a small amount because they burn.

Pros
  • I was Shocked! with the popcorn popper.Easy to use & clean! Fun also.
Cons
  • May not fit in all microwave sizes

Not as good as expected

Bought several of these as gifts, but it was not a great buy for me. Everyone has a different make, model, size and wattage microwave so your results may vary. In my Panasonic NN-SN933B Black 1250W 2.2 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven with Inverter Technology, the popper gets hot and doesn't produce good batches of popcorn, especially when making several batches one after another. Popcorn often burns. I quit using this one and went back to using a Nordic Ware Microwaver Popcorn Popper I…

Pros
  • This is easy, no mess way to pop in less than 3 minutes. Yes, it is giftable.
Cons
  • The silicone material may absorb odors from previous uses

Works great! for my opinion

This works and it so simple. Much easier to clean compared to other glass products. I don't know what on earth some reviewers are doing to burn this item. You're only popping for 3 or 4 minutes

Pros
  • makes great popcorn! love that it doesn't need oil so that it is healthier!
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for frequent use

I never knew how much I NEEDED this.

Me and my wife love to eat popcorn in the evenings and after spending tons of pre made packs, I though I'd look into getting up a popcorn popper of some sort. I was a bit skeptical about this at first but I trusted the other reviewers and got one anyway. I am SO GLAD I did. This thing is great, it makes popcorn quick and easy and for how much I've saved on buying popcorn packs instead of kernals, it has paid for itself several times over.

Pros
  • Lid
Cons
  • The collapsible design could make it less durable over time

Lovin' this! good for me

THE best thing that ever happened to popcorn-making. Super convenient to use yet a cost-effective unit. And like everyone else is saying, I'm also not going back to purchasing microwave popcorn packs anymore thanks to this.

Pros
  • It's effortless to use, even for a newbie.
Cons
  • The collapsible design may trap food or debris in the folds

Wonderful! best in my review

I used it last night for the first time, and I was wowed! It's just me so I opted for the 1/4 cup marking for corn kernels. I thought it had popped all of them but when I got to the very bottom, I found 3-4 that weren't popped. Oh dear! I didn't use any oil. I like my popcorn plain, with just salt as I count on it for a low-calorie snack, and this popper really delivered. I also like that it folds down and is so light that I easily found a spot to store it, even in my small kitchen. Highly…

Pros
  • It's made from durable silicone material, so you know it's built to last.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to add additional seasoning after popping

Best thing ever (once you get the hang)

I tried 2 methods of popping corn in this thing & here is what I experienced.Method #1 NO oil at all.1. Having no oil/fat takes away from the flavor of the finished popcorn. Seasonings do not stick as well to corn popped without any oil at all.2. Adding the oil or butter afterward would be great if the popcorn stayed hot long enough. I had to cook my kernels in very small batches so.3. I could only cook just under 1 tablespoon of kernels at a time to make sure they all popped without burning. I

Pros
  • BPA-free material ensures safety while using it for microwaving popcorn.
Cons
  • Could be a potential safety hazard if not used properly

Hesitant when I received it, but it worked very well.

Full disclosure, I was half-asleep when I ordered this but craving homemade popcorn. Kitchen is under renovation, so cooking options are limited. I found this microwave popper, bought some Amish mushroom popcorn and settled in for a few days to await delivery. Delivery was faster than expected. Then I read the directions. No oil in the popper while microwaving. Huh? I love olive oil, coconut oil, butter, etc in my popcorn. Hmmm…not so sure about this. But I needed some supper (yes, popcorn…

Pros
  • Manual
Cons
  • Requires a clean microwave to prevent contamination from other foods
