Full disclosure, I was half-asleep when I ordered this but craving homemade popcorn. Kitchen is under renovation, so cooking options are limited. I found this microwave popper, bought some Amish mushroom popcorn and settled in for a few days to await delivery. Delivery was faster than expected. Then I read the directions. No oil in the popper while microwaving. Huh? I love olive oil, coconut oil, butter, etc in my popcorn. Hmmm…not so sure about this. But I needed some supper (yes, popcorn counts!) and I had everything, so decided to give it a try. I pre-melted butter (real, not margarine) so it was ready to drizzle over and put the popcorn in to pop. 3 minutes later…voila! The popcorn popped up nice & crunchy, I drizzled & salted and I am one happy popcorn eater. Very very nice. I will very much enjoy this before and after my new kitchen. :)
