Bought several of these as gifts, but it was not a great buy for me. Everyone has a different make, model, size and wattage microwave so your results may vary. In my Panasonic NN-SN933B Black 1250W 2.2 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven with Inverter Technology, the popper gets hot and doesn't produce good batches of popcorn, especially when making several batches one after another. Popcorn often burns. I quit using this one and went back to using a Nordic Ware Microwaver Popcorn Popper I originally bought in 2007. It's not perfect but works much better than this style in my Panasonic microwave.
