Reviews on this product seem to vary greatly depending on color choice, so my review relates to the MAUVES set. suitable for make-up. I almost always wear the same mauve eyeshadow palette. However, my popular brand had discontinued my favorite palette, so I looked for a new one that I liked too. The problem is that experimenting with makeup isn't really my thing. I just want to find something that works and move on. So I was excited about this set. It meets all my needs: * A good range of mauve colors * At least one dark version with a hint of brown (mostly for blending) * At least one very light version and bonus if it's more creamy and less pink or purple * Long Easy at night to rinse off. Because this palette all had the same base colors that I was used to, I was able to mix and match at will and apply quickly. And the pencil was dark purple, not brown. I have green eyes and the dark purple eyeliner really makes them stand out. The eyeliner is easy to apply and applies very evenly. The pencil has a spring at the other end, which is always handy. So I really liked everything in this set. What I'm struggling with a bit is value for money. Do I feel this is a great deal for the price shown? Not really. In terms of quality, it seemed to me that it is not inferior to mainstream brands. A six-color palette and a separately store-bought eyebrow pencil will likely cost about the same. So the price is fair for what you get and compared to what you would spend to get something comparable in a brick-and-mortar store. All in all a solid set at a fair price. I'm happy with it and glad I don't have to constantly search for another basic pink lilac palette for everyday use.
