Basically it didn't work because the product I received didn't match what was advertised. I bought it refurbished thinking I would get a good deal but it looks like I got the wrong bulb which didn't fit. Update: Went back and bought another one and this time they sent me the correct one. I plugged it in and it's bright, but not as bright as I expected. It's a bit brighter than the factory HID, but doesn't glow as evenly as the HID. I guess my HIDs aren't that bad. They also seem to heat up very quickly. I put it on the plastic part of my car the first time I plugged it in to test and within a minute it was already so hot I was seeing steam and plastic melting because I panicked and turned it off quickly. So you need to make sure it's fastened properly, because if it falls out and touches something on the heatsink, there's a high chance the wiring will melt. The fan always seems to be spinning when the light is on, but the noise isn't really noticeable unless you put your ear to it, and even though the fan was spinning it still didn't cool it very much because of the LED gets hot.
