) when I go and do crazy teenage stuff like explore abandoned buildings, climb old bunkers and jump.

I didn't order this backpack to drink but as a very compact backpack to fit essentials (phone, ipod, snacks, first aid kit etc.) when I'm doing crazy teenage stuff, such as exploring abandoned buildings, climbing old bunkers and jumping on trains. This pack has taken care of everything I've thrown at it (or whatever I've put on it I think) and still looks as new as a surplus hydration pack can. The only modification I made was to sew a piece of fabric over the hole where the bladder would normally be inserted because I didn't need that hole. I've taken it on two four-day canoe trips, where it's served as a kind of carry-on so I don't have to rummage through my bag, I've walked with it, jumped off a few rooftops onto poles of sand or gravel, and rolled over them, jumped onto moving ones Trains and off them and climbed very tall trees with them. When climbing or moving through dense undergrowth it's very low and doesn't snag on branches, although I imagine that depends on how much stuff you have in it. There are four sets of buckles on the front of the suitcase to hang water bottles, sandals or keys. It has an adjustable chest strap, although it tends to be a bit larger (it's not a big deal, but I'm not a very tall guy either, so it might be worse for someone of a different size. All in all, this backpack is amazing and if you compare it to such a low price this thing is seriously stolen it's not the greatest thing in the world but I'll tell you this - if you're hiking or camping it doesn't look very good if you do it will Get the job done, and if you get creative, it can do a lot more.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
