Very well made backpack

This backpack has no external pockets but there is a pocket on the back of the camera to store your phone. This backpack is ideal for fishing, kayaking and hiking. I mountain bike quite a bit and while this would have worked, there is a lack of space to store a spare tube, co2 etc. Overall, this backpack is just too good! Better done than a camel except for the storage space. If I'm doing anything other than mountain biking, this is my choice! Sometimes I use a backpack for cycling, but it only

Great product, questionable sellers

The product is excellent I would give it 5 stars. I have a problem with sellers. I have ordered this item 3 times in new condition. I ordered the first one for my brother and it came in the package in new condition. I liked it so much that I ordered the same one, also in NEW condition. It turned out to be second hand, dirty and smelled of mold. Returned. Tried again from another seller, order in NEW condition. This arrived lightly used and slightly soiled, with a scratched swell cap on the…

Double the capacity for half the price

Finding and purchasing a USMC Tactical 3L hydration system has been one of the simplest tasks I've had to grapple with over the years of using Revain. ) Hydrator to replace CamelBak. No frills, 3 liter max capacity, just something simple that I might add later if I wanted to add. Unfortunately, the cheapest 3 liter CamelBak I could find cost $85 and wasn't what I was looking for. Civilian and military versions of Source Outdoors WXP 3B reservoirs. This brings with it the versatility of the…

Lightweight and high quality product

Made from high quality materials yet lightweight. This is a nice addition to my backpack, I now have a small backpack for day trips without the extra packing of a day pack. I use a modified ALICE pack with MOLLE shoulder straps and a kidney pad for hiking. This item fits nicely in this backpack between the frame and backpack so it sits between my shoulder blades on my back. The backpack just leaves so much space that I don't even notice it there. This is ideal for me as it puts the heaviest…

Better than expected

Bought from Blackstar Surplus for $16.53 and received yesterday. As for the price, I thought what the heck am I going to lose $16 if it's not as expected. Got it and wow! This thing is built like a tank (military grade)! It was said to come used but it looks like this thing has never been touched, it may have been in storage for a while but definitely not worn. It's certainly not 3 liters, but I already knew that when reading other reviews. I've paired this with a 70oz (2 liter) Camelbak…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

I didn't order this backpack to drink but as a very compact backpack to fit essentials (phone, ipod, snacks, first aid kit etc.) when I'm doing crazy teenage stuff, such as exploring abandoned buildings, climbing old bunkers and jumping on trains. This pack has taken care of everything I've thrown at it (or whatever I've put on it I think) and still looks as new as a surplus hydration pack can. The only modification I made was to sew a piece of fabric over the hole where the bladder would…
