Stretch was tight enough to hold in place but not so tight that it created fat bubbles above or below. VERY comfortable. Never folded over. Wore this at a wedding and danced. I never even had to make an adjustment to it. Lots of complements in the outfit. My daughter hated it when she saw the picture on ebay because she said it looked like a moustache, but once I tried it on with the dress (among 3 other options) this one won the vote by far. I highly recommend this belt. Stretch, comfort, value. I am thrilled with this purchase.
