Brilliant document and image management tool for large companies
The best thing about this software is that it has excellent file comparison features as well as merging capabilities which are very useful when working with multiple versions of documents or other types of content such as images etc..
There's nothing I dislike at all! It does exactly what we need - so there really isn't anything else needed but more advanced options if required would be nice though they do have an online support team should any issues arise. We use BC quite often during our daily workflows especially where comparing different designs/documents/images between 2 teams to ensure things haven’t been missed out due to human error (we always get them wrong!).
Pros
- Easy interface
- Great for visualisation purposes, great way in seeing changes visually before committing.
- Can set up rules easily by defining filters e g specific word matching requirements within text files can simply click filter button select criteria then press "find differences" tab under new search window)
- Very good merge function too allowing easy updates into target folder without losing valuable data from original source version
