It makes so much sense but I never thought about it. The ceilings just looked old fashioned or something. But lately I've been inspecting and upgrading various household fire extinguishers and watched a few videos, one of which covered these ceilings. They seem to be a great addition to fire extinguishers for small fires. I chose this one for quantity and price, and there didn't seem to be any extra junk I didn't want. When they arrived I pulled one out to "test" it and was amazed by how easy it unfolds, how soft it is and how heavy it feels. I could see exactly how it put out the fire in the furnace with ease. So now I have two hanging around the house next to the fire extinguishers and I plan to buy two more for another location. I hope I never have to use them but I'm very glad I found out about this product.
