For this price you're definitely getting something that works. It doesn't give you the shape that a waist trainer will. But it tightens the waist a little. Now I have a long waist and I usually have a hard time finding something that fits my length. But this one works. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because it keeps slipping down and the size is wrong! I can't get him to stay there for the rest of his life. Slide further down and roll down to the end. It annoys me that I feel this bump where it slides down. There must be something with it to keep it safe. Aside from this issue, I usually wear it with a belt trainer. I wear it underneath and yes! You have the round body you've always dreamed of! The material is good, the length is good, the hips are not too tight. I'm 5ft 8in, 190lbs and the medium worked pretty well. So the size is smaller! I usually take a large one, but the medium one was perfect.
