Review on Espresso Highboy TV Stand by Convenience Concepts Big Sur by Christie Stephens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hardly suitable for TV and media furniture

Beautiful to look at. Very cheap design - something like this is as strong as the connections are strong, and crappy loose locks and crappy dowels falling out despite being glued together can't hold the pieces meant to hold a heavy TV together. I left the doors open so I can't attest, but I believe those who say they don't fit because they're so cheap. Once you screw on the back, it's strong enough to hold the TV. The shelf is barely deep enough for my DVD player. That's hardly enough. I replaced a 20+ year old piece that I assembled myself that was held together with (remember those?) SCREWS. It's still rock solid and costs a lot less than this. A cheap crappy dowel and cam lock is no good for pressed cardboard assembly. Nothing fits right, it's almost impossible to set it up in a way that the parts can be connected securely. I can't believe it's impossible to get a decent piece of furniture for $200.
