Surprisingly good quality for so much money

Surprisingly good quality for so much money. I think the top is MDF and the sides and shelves are chipboard. But to be honest, this is not old furniture. The top and sides are covered with beautiful veneer, it looks like real wood. The images on Revain for the cherry finish do not match the color; an image with a darker hue is more accurate. The assembly was quite easy. The eccentric screws were a bit fiddly and at first you might think the screw is too big for the hole drilled. I applied a…

Hardly suitable for TV and media furniture

Beautiful to look at. Very cheap design - something like this is as strong as the connections are strong, and crappy loose locks and crappy dowels falling out despite being glued together can't hold the pieces meant to hold a heavy TV together. I left the doors open so I can't attest, but I believe those who say they don't fit because they're so cheap. Once you screw on the back, it's strong enough to hold the TV. The shelf is barely deep enough for my DVD player. That's hardly enough. I…

5 stars for the TV stand 1 star for the assembly It was a NIGHTMARE

I really hate giving 3 stars but I give the product plus assembly a generous average of 3 TV stand Came in perfect condition, no scratches, all instructions and parts included. It's pretty hard, so when putting this solo together, start right where you're going to place it. The instructions are very clear, all bolts, screws and pieces of wood are numbered or listed in the instructions. It was my first time assembling furniture and it was TERRIBLE. Problem? cam bolt. The holes they go in are…

Beautiful Component Case

Was looking for a traditional case to replace the taller old stereo case that housed my stereo components. We live in a 100 year old Craftsman house and are looking for a nicer wardrobe to match our new traditional style living room furniture. After visiting several furniture stores I settled on Revain and was pleasantly surprised to find a traditional craft style cabinet. The price was very reasonable but there were some reservations about the quality of the MDF fiberboard the cabinet was made

Functional and understated looking

If you've ever assembled Ikea furniture before, this cabinet will be easy to assemble: it's held in place by cam locks and dowels. You will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver. The assembly instructions are clear and well structured. Pay attention to the front and back when assembling the unit: I accidentally put the middle shelf back and didn't realize it until after I'd tightened all the cams, so a bit of a waste of time but not a big deal. I found it convenient to use an impact wrench when…

Read this review for building tips!

Very satisfied! Would buy more 😀 A few assembly tips for those who are not assembly experts: 1. Use wood glue whenever using wooden pegs. There are guides on how to do this, but I didn't see them until I took the first step (absolutely my fault, but I'm a bit impatient when it comes to things like this). If you look at furniture, the larger holes are for wooden pegs and the smaller holes are for cam screws. It's hard to see it in the directions because the imprint is tiny.2. The cam screws…
