Review on Espresso Highboy TV Stand by Convenience Concepts Big Sur by Jennifer Verdugo

Revainrating 3 out of 5

5 stars for the TV stand 1 star for the assembly It was a NIGHTMARE

I really hate giving 3 stars but I give the product plus assembly a generous average of 3 TV stand Came in perfect condition, no scratches, all instructions and parts included. It's pretty hard, so when putting this solo together, start right where you're going to place it. The instructions are very clear, all bolts, screws and pieces of wood are numbered or listed in the instructions. It was my first time assembling furniture and it was TERRIBLE. Problem? cam bolt. The holes they go in are unthreaded and have no leads. It's almost impossible to turn them on. DO NOT USE A DRILL - I used a drill but the screws didn't go in without a lot of pressure. Also removed some screw heads. I was beside myself with frustration and paused for a long time. I then used a hand screwdriver and surprisingly the cam bolts worked much better. So my guilty conscience for using an electric drill. That was the only tricky part - everything else was wooden dowels and regular screws. The TV stand is very well assembled. I have a 40 inch TV on it and it fits perfectly. Durable and beautiful. The company can help by cutting holes for cam bolts.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Good but not great
