Works better than expected. I converted an old Paul C Buff 30 x 60 inch softbox from a Balcar mount to Bowens using: Speed Ring Adapter Softbox Speedring Softbox for Bowens S Flash/Monolight. I then attached it to my stand with: Godox S-Type Bracket Bowens Mount Holder for Speedlite Flash Snoot Softbox Honeycomb. Finally I installed 4 Yongnuo yn560-iii flashes on this thing and. Hot Dan! 2 from Yongnuo corresponds to the performance I got from my studio flash (320WS). Of course, 4 gives me an extra f-stop. Now that Yongnuo has wireless triggers built in AND can be controlled remotely by my camera (yn560-tx), this little mount gives me a terribly serious, powerful, easy to manage/configurable portable lighting solution. BTW: I didn't have any of the problems described in some 1 star reviews. My flashes attach easily to the bracket. Each of them got it right. And the locking mechanism on this mount worked exactly as I had hoped - once tightened (a quarter turn clockwise) all the flashes were held securely in place. The locking wheel didn't seem that secure, so I'm not sure it will hold up to heavy use. but I won't be using it too much, so AFAIC. all is well.
