The first controller I got worked great except for 1 issue. Sometimes pressing the start button also pressed the select button. I've fully tested this and know it's happening because the select button is my discord mute button so the audio plays and I know when it's pressed. I also tested it in other games. I called support and they offered a replacement. I gladly took the replacement and while it works just as well, IT HAS THE EXACT SAME DEFECT: Pressing the start button sometimes also presses the select button. Though it was annoying, I decided to just replace the mute button with two analog stick buttons (L3 + R3) and got on with my life. Right now after using this new controller for about 3 months the right stick has completely failed. It can't recognize horizontal input and clicking the right joystick no longer registers R3. What a joke for a company like Steel Series. For a little background, I'm not one to put in much effort when pushing a button. I used to play sidescrollers and puzzle games that almost didn't require a real joystick. I didn't drop the device and kept it neatly on the shelf when not in use. I read on the forums that this device has a bad connection and that if you open it this can be fixed. Although many people can do this, it shouldn't be a requirement. All. Just learn how to connect official Xbox or PS controllers to a PC / phone. So fewer headaches.
