Definitely not just the black version of the one in the photo. The cable I received was much cheaper in quality. The ends are black but with a cheaper clip-on release. I kept losing the signal to the monitor and after this happened a few times the housing on the end of the cable inside the monitor broke so I couldn't disconnect it from my new monitor. Wonderful! At least I could see what was causing the signal loss because the end of the damn thing was wrapped in duct tape. Not even pre-cut - you have to use it when making the product - tape, but with a jagged edge - some idiot tore off a piece of tape to connect everything - tape. We rent this POS and are looking elsewhere.
