Bought because another review reported that the Belkin Display Port cable has an isolated pin of 20 which is required on a regular PC to connect a monitor. However, when received, the cable did not look like the Belkin cable pictured on the website, but a regular cable in a plastic bag with the "Belkin" label printed on it.

High quality displayport cable in original/bulk packaging (not in Belkin retail packaging). What can I say. It's a video cable. It is of good quality. The only thing to note if it's important to you is that the ends are not silver as shown in the picture, they were actually black. if it matters to you

Not sure if this was v1.2 compatible but it works when I connect my GPU to my display which now runs at 1080p at 60Hz . Oh yeah and they were right about the color I got for the rear cable but I think it looks better this way

I was planning to use it between the Lenovo X220 Ultrabay docking station and the Samsung SyncMaster SA850 screen. On the screen side the cable is connected well and securely, but not on the UltrBay side. Twisting the cable didn't change that. I find that the small locks are not pronounced enough to securely connect to each DisplayPort connector. Another cheap cable works great.

Definitely not just the black version of the one in the photo. The cable I received was much cheaper in quality. The ends are black but with a cheaper clip-on release. I kept losing the signal to the monitor and after this happened a few times the housing on the end of the cable inside the monitor broke so I couldn't disconnect it from my new monitor. Wonderful! At least I could see what was causing the signal loss because the end of the damn thing was wrapped in duct tape. Not even pre-cut…

Good DisplayPort. I did not receive the one in the picture. I have black plastic. I was expecting silver metal or silver plastic on the ends. In any case, it works great. Maybe they should change the picture to reflect the actual cable.
