This review is an edit of my previous review. I would like to thank the seller again for the fast delivery. The only complaint I have is that firstly I received an item that looks nothing like the item in the picture which is extremely misleading. Contrary to the item in the picture, the DisplayPort cable I received was all black. I would be grateful if I could receive the item as in the picture. Second, I rarely experience screen blanking with the cable, which is very frustrating which I only experience with the DisplayPort cable. I've tried the DVI cables that came with the monitor I recently bought, the ASUS VE278Q, and the one I've been using for a number of years, along with a couple of HDMI cables. None of the DVI or HDMI cables caused a blanking when I connected the monitor to my desktop via a DisplayPort cable, which gives me two thoughts: either the DisplayPort on the monitor is just plain bad, or the DisplayPort cable itself is bad. I have yet to find the culprit, but the cable does the job perfectly, delivering both video and sound. I really can't complain as I bought this cable for a relatively good price, a bargain compared to the RRP. I just wish I could really find out if it is the monitor or the cable itself that is causing the blanking as I still need to do further research on my dilemma as I am busy with my schoolwork.
