Looks like the picture. I had to remove a link and did it myself. I can't say the average person knows how to do this, but I've had many watches that needed to be sized appropriately. I found what to look for. I have a variety of tiny screwdrivers and I used one of the smallest ones to remove the pins, remove the connector and put the pins back in. Exact time. I had to bend the clasp a bit. Unlike others who complained that their 90 year old mother had trouble opening the clasp, mine opened too easily for my liking.
