Great Hydration Vest+ (Storage)

They say you can't try anything new on race day. I decided to drop this advice for my first ultramarathon trail run in Big Bend. I was nervous about it, but this vest has proven itself in every way. This is my first Nathan product and I am happy with the quality. Water. The two liter capacity was ample and I had some left over when I filled the water halfway. I was pleasantly surprised by the chest strap with clip for attaching the bite valve. Very intuitive and keeps it where you need it and easily accessible. - Front Pockets - The right side is for an extra bottle but I used that for my power supply and saltstick caps. The left side has a zipper big enough for my iPhone SE (6 probably won't fit) and a couple of Stinger gel packs. There is also an elastic pouch that I put more snacks and gels in. You were safe in it and I have lost nothing. Back pocket - opens on the go so I can pick it up and get my snacks without stopping. There is an inside pocket as well as a clip at the top for keys and other things. - Bladder bag - Plenty of room as I put an extra shirt, socks and bottle of sole in. - Straps - Waffle mesh keeps you cool and doesn't irritate the skin. The 50 km started out pretty wet and I was sweating a lot at first. Even though you hold it fairly tightly so it doesn't bounce around, it still breathes well.
