Update: I ordered a replacement 2 days ago. No more expiration date and manufacture date - now it's a batch number. If you have any questions, please contact the manufacturer at their website or by phone at (800) 213-3705. Be careful not to run to Squalane. This is the only negative issue I can report about Perpetual Qualane. so says the boss (my wife). I bought another bottle for her and was surprised to see that the product was almost 2 years old. My device was manufactured in 2016. (This is February 2018). If this item is in a warehouse that may not be conditioned for over a year, you will end up with a product that is likely to go rancid before you complete it. You open the bottle for the first time - the clock ticks even faster. Store squalane in the fridge anyway and it should stay fresh longer. But all in all this is a very good product and at a reasonable price. The manufacturing date and expiry date are stated on the box containing the vial and pipette. Don't store it if it arrived without outer box. There are no date stamps or codes on the bottle itself.
