I tried several products a few years ago after a minor knee injury. My kneecap sometimes doesn't "track" properly, resulting in a painful "pop" every time I get up from a chair, etc. I no longer need heavy support or velcro knee brace immobilization, but some compression/support still needs to be held my kneecap in the right position. This Vital Salveo case is perfect! The light side panels help keep the sleeve where it needs to be (I tried the one without side panels and it didn't hold), and the light compression and warmth is just what my poor old knee needed. However, be careful when choosing a Vital Salveo product because there are three products that are very similar to each other but have different letters that indicate their function.
